Crank Brothers platform pedals

I am using the Candy SLs. Have been for about 2 months.

With flat shoes they should be no problem. They come with a little cleat shim to make clipping
easier on shoes with tread, which I head to use with my SIDI dominators. I love them. Clipping in is
slightly harder, but the overall experience is in my opinion better because the pedal doesn't roll
under your feet when you don't get clipped in right away. Clipping in all three ways still works.
Great pedals.

I have the Mallet Cs but haven't mounted them yet. They also come with shims, so I presume the same
potential problem exists with tread.

The new issue of Bicycling Mag (not sure of the month, Nov 03?) has a page on the new Crank Brothers
platform pedals. Overall, I think they like them.....check it out.
