I used to do cross country motorcycling, and was introduced to motorcycle safety training developed by the Motorcyle Safety Foundation. I took three levels of courses, and much of what I learned applies to the daily commute I now do on a bicycle.
I have also learned a great deal from the forums on this website and others. Many experienced riders share their wisdom intelligently and with great respect for the sport, for differing opinions, and for inexperienced riders.
I'm wondering whether professional level bicycle safety courses that require certification for teachers exist.
