Can someone please explain countersteering in a way that beginer can understand. I've read many articles about the subject and it sounds really effective, but all the articles contradict each other on how to actually countersteeer! 😕

Think of it this way .............
When you push the bars with your left hand, the wheel rotates to the right. The road then wants to push on the back edge of your tire to force it back straight, this makes the bike lean over to the LEFT. This makes you turn ........
Regardless of what people think instinctively, this is how everyone steers to start the turn at speed ............ If you are just putzing along at 2 or 3 mph, then when you steer a certain direction, that's where you go, but not when you are rolling along at a good clip ........
It is much easier to understand and demonstrate if you are a motorcyclist .............
