Been away for a bit as my old PC didn't like this NG for some reason!.
Having lived on the Cotswold Way all my life i thought that now might be the time to walk it. Realistically how long will it take?. I am of average fitness and can comfortably cover 10-15 miles a day in the Lake District. I'm thinking about 12 miles a day would be enough for me.

yeah the cotswolds way is roughly 100 miles, from chipping campden in the north to bath in the south. obviously if you walk 12m a day then its going to take you a little over 8 days.
i did half of offas dyke recently, a distance of roughly 100m, and it took me 6 days, so i must have been averaging about 15m a day. mind you my feet were in a mess at the end of it.
