converting std bar to oly

Several places sell a 5' and a 6' bar for Olympic weights, and it's
usually a 1" bar with some sort of sleeve added permanently from the
collars outward. We have the 6', 25 lb. version here and it's very
nice - my wife uses it for deadlifting. I'm sure there's a 5' version
out there, too.

Here you go - this is where we got ours. The selection is different now
but scroll down and you'll see both 5' and 6' bars, and I believe these
