Rans posted a suggestion for the setup of your steering, which I tried.ransbikes.com APE.htm Open ↗
Bein a typical recumbent rider, I wanted to tinker with an already good thing.
I did the flip of the steering column as indicated and found a lot of complications on my
1) The cable housings were too short at the top of the steering column. That mean longer housing and
2) You still have to swap your grips around.

I do like the more open feel. But if found that when I make sharp turns the top post rubs the inner
