1. Guys-
Anyone know if this is possible? I have a Garmin 500. I've never really bothered with the workout or courses feature but I was wondering if it would be possible to load an erg file into either and then use the Garmin to drive the Computrainer. And also, record the session onto the Garmin (assuming I'm running my PT on the bike).

2. You need windows based software compatible with the CT hardware to drive the CT. There are at least 5 software packages that can do that:
Old and new Racermate software
PerfPro
Trainer Road
ErgVideo

Ahh well, it was just wishful thinking...
Tried it and obviously it didn't work but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.
Took your original advise and bought the license for PerfPro last night .
Thanks Alex!

It's very good software.

5. Golden Cheetah can also control the CT.
