I don't think that's as good as the one I have framed and hanging in MY bathroom. I don't have a
link to it, but Calvin and Hobbs are spending a winter afternoon walking around "looking for
weirdness." They find a weird rock here and a weird stick there. At one point they find an old kite
hanging from a tree and Calvin says, "you know what would be weird? If we found a skeleton of a kid
hanging at the other end." Hobbs says, "yeah, that would be weird." Then dad rides by on his mtb,
all bundled up against the cold and mumbling to himself something like, "my nose is frozen and I
can't feel my toes, but my heart rate is the envy of men half my age." Calvin and Hobbs look blankly
at each other. Calvin says, "weirdness always begins at home" and Hobbs says, "even when you look
for it, you're never prepared for it."

Bill W. said that he always got a good response from cyclists when he'd do a strip like that. He
himself really enjoyed bicycling. He also said that he hated it when other comic artists would do
golf-related strips -- they seemed so self-indulgent, so he tried to keep the cycling-related strips
to a minimum.

A loss for us all, eh?

Your strip is just a couple of right arrow clicks away on the link the OP included. Starange as it
may be. I also have a Calvin and Hobbs strip framed and hanging on my wall right above me right now.
It was given to me by my wife and daughter on my birthday.

Dad all dressed up in cycling gear says. I'm going for a bike ride. The wife giggles a little and
dad asks what she is laughing at. She says, nothing have a nice time, hiding her mouth with her
hand. In the next frame dad is telling Calvin. Well, I didn't design these clothes
. They are practical. Calvin asks. Dad, how did you manage to get your head stuck in a bowlingball?
In the last frame dad is bicycling away muttering. Next time I'm gonna squirt them both with my
waterbottle.
