As of 6:17 pm today, I have discovered a complaint against me by simon.
I will take this opportunity to apologize. I am sorry simon, and I am
sorry to any one else that I have upset or Offended. I hope you take
this apology as serious as sincere I am. I just needed to let off some
stress before my GCSE's, i'm sure you have been there before, so i hope
you can all relate. Thankyou.

Well, whatever your faults or merits, you certainly hit the ground
running when you joined this forum.

An apology is seen to be sincere when the behaviour that made it
necessary is not repeated. An apology earns a second chance. A second
apology doesn't necessarily earn a third chance.

That is,
Let N = the number of apologies, and C = credibility,
and let N >=1
C is inversely proportional to N.

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a
capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety
labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

Just ignore ‘Grogboy’. He is from my school and saw that I was on this
site, so thought it would be fun to join and make a complete **** of
himself.

He doesn’t unicycle. He was going to learn on mine like 3 years ago, but
gave in.

It’s pretty sad.

Joe,

No, becaue my thesis is that the more apologies, the less credible they
are, and without stipulating a lower limit of 1 to the number of
apologies, that would imply that the person who didn't apologise at all
would deserve greater credit than the person who apologised exactly once
and then modified his behaviour.

Unless, of course, N is irrational, in which case C is also irrational.
:)

(Sorry - I'm in a math geeky mood. My new T-shirt from ThinkGeek just
arrived. It says "There are only 10 kinds of people in the world - those
who understand binary and those who don't.")
