I just purchased a Columba folding bike. My girlfriend had one previously and I just bought one, so that I could ride with her. I tried to rent a bike, but the bike rentals in my area are in pretty bad shape. I plan to ride it this weekend. Any recommendations are things I should look out for? They are the highest recommended folding bikes, so I am not too concerned about it holding up in general though.
