I recently moved to a new town and am enjoying the process of exploring a whole new set of roads and trails. Some roads lead from what looks like the same old suburbia to surprisingly pleasant park trail. Others start out rural and scenic and suddenly turn to no-shoulder, high-traffic hell. I've gotten turned around a few times, so today I pulled out a map to try to figure out just where I'd been and how far I've been going. As I ran a highlighter over the ground covered so far, I thought it might be fun to try to color in all the roads in my new town. I figure it'll take about a year. Has anyone here tried this?

You must have a lot of free time. I've got stacks of old newspapers in my garage, I'll send you the funny papers and you can draw eyeballs in little orphan annie while you're at it.
