I noticed that the Sierra Trading Post is selling brand new Colnago Chic bikes for $1039. Is anyone familiar with this bike, and is that a good price for it?

But I just can't imagine that the low end aluminum stuff is all that great -- it certainly won't be like the Colnagos we think of when we hear that name.
Rather than get one of those, how about a used Masterlight? They are great steel frames. Or a used Dream Plus. If you look hard enough and find one with some miles on it, they should be not so much more than the Chic is new after tax, etc.
