On three occasions I have had unexpected blood sugar rises. Why. then I remembered it was when I was
out in the cold (South Texas type) for quite a while. For several reasons I have seen glucose
releases, including lack of basal insulin level. One thought is that it might when my energy needs
exceed the insulin available. (muscle starvation). Posted for any ideas and comments. Guy
