So there I was, on my way to meet with Tom Kellogg, of Spectrum Cycles, to start the process for a
new, custom bike. Spectrum is located off-the beaten-track near the Lehigh Valley Velodrome;
following Tom's directions to his shop, I turned onto a country road and passed Brandt Road and
then, immediately after, Avocet Drive. Coincidence? I think not. Cosmic approval of my new purchase?
I prefer to think the cosmos was smiling appreciatively. --Roy Zipris
