CO MTB Destinations with extras?

You lose the best of Colorado by limiting yourself to the
front range and associated ski resorts. Places like
Gunnison/CB, Lake City, Creede, Durango, Salida, Grand
Junction, Pagosa Springs, are all only a few hours further
(Denver to Durango is 6.5 hours), and usually offer much
less crowded vacationing, both in town and on the trails. I
rode a classic yesterday, what we thought would be a very
busy day on the trail, and saw no other bikers. Bolam Pass
to Hotel Draw ... tasty!
