What are people's opinions on cycle bibs, as I was thinking of purchasing this one on ebay, although I'm not sure whether shorts are more practical for mountain biking?

I don't know anything about Orbea clothing, those photos are rubbish.

Pro and serious riders tend to prefer bib shorts over non-bib shorts, due to the discomfort that often occurs with an elastic waistband, such as tightness (digging into skin) and chafing with normal shorts.
