I've just entered my first pool based triathlon. As a
woman, can anybody recommend what I should wear - I'm a bit
confused!
My options seem to be:
Swimsuit, then pull on a pair of shorts and t-shirt in the
first transition.
Not speaking from experience her, but I can't imagine riding
in a standard one piece swim suit would be too comfortable.
The constant leaning forward might cause a wedge. If it is a
long ride, you need something that is padded and preferably
not attached to your shoulders.
Whatever you do, Do not wear a t-shirt (or anything else
baggy and/or made of cotton). It will only slow you down on
the ride and chafe you on the run.

OR
Tri shorts might work. I just wear a tri brief myself, as
the tight shorts just make me look fat.

Also, any advice about swimming in a sports bra?
Never tried that one.
Quoted message said:Would a tri-singlet offer enough support?
Can't answer that one.
