Clothes for the larger cyclist

well, I purchase some padded shorts from "aerotechdesigns". they have clothing that goes up to 4xl... as far as longevity, I got them last season, and am still wearing them (though, I will need to get some smaller pairs as I they are starting to be too big for me...)

I cannot help you on the large clothing sizes, although I would point out that American made cycling clothes tend to be larger than European clothes with the same size tag.

For the waterproof jacket I have been using a Carradice Duxback Rain Poncho purchased from St. John Street Cycles ( http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/category-Traditional-Capes-and-Ponchos-549.htm ) for several years. It is a very durable piece of clothing that I have even used during hurricanes. No, I was not cycling during a hurricane, but I did have to be outside.
