My club ran a 'TdF Prologue' event (a come and try it TT with the same distance as the TdF prologue). Not only did we get 40 riders out on a day of *awful* weather but we got a write up on the BBC website as well:

OTOH, the original announcement said "turn up on your normal roadbike" and my 'normal roadbike' is *very* non-UCI compliant! <grins> -- These opinions might not even be mine ... Let alone connected with my employer ...
