Just in case anyone else is having trouble tracking down a
click once per crank rpm.
This click only happened with moderate pressure on the
down stroke of the right pedal. It was regular as clockwork.
Didn't depend on which sprocket / chainring I was using.
I tried:
o Tightening pedals and cranks.
o Tightening the bolts holding the chainrings to the crank.
o Removing the cranks and re-fitting them.
o A different pair of pedals.
I finally twigged it might not be the pedals when I tried
cycling standing on the pedals and I didn't get the click.
The solution was tightening the seat pin clamp and the
bolt attaching the saddle to the seat pin. Not sure which
was the culprit. They were already reasonably tight, just
another 1/4 turn did the job.
Have a good Easter.
Dave.
