  1. Hi there I wonder if anyone can help me here...

Im getting a weird clicking noise when im peddling. It seems to be around the same point of rotation of the crank each time. Sounds almost like the cable tie that holds the magnet onto the crank is flicking against the cadence sensor but its not because ive checked.

I reckon its either the pedals, cleats or bb and the crank looks fine and is bolten in tightly.

Any suggestions as to possible causes? its driving me nuts!.

    Cheers

    Chris

  2. Try tightening (or better yet removing, greasing and reinstalling) your bb cups...9 times out of 10 its a loose bb. Its the noise happening at the same spot in the rotation that gives it away.

Any suggestions as to possible causes?

  3. Actually, while your messing around with the bb you might as well overhaul it with new bearings/grease to...or simply replace it if its a sealed cartridge...chances are you've gone too long without an overhaul...every six months bro!!!!

  4. thanks for the help guys - turns out it was the pedal threads needed greasing.

    Cheers

    Chris
