Clicking noise in wheels

We took off the tire and put plumbers tape around the value and guess what no more noise. It appears that if you use the medium stem and not the long stem you will have noise. I changed to the long stem and without tape and good as gold.

This is just some information to others that hear a clicking nosie as the wheel goes around to check this before major work is to be carried out.😉

Reminds me of the time a few years ago the mechanic working on my
motorbike called me to say he'd found a cooked bird I must have hit and
got wedged in between the exhaust pipes at the front of the bike. Think
I might have noticed it if it was a magpie though.

I headbutted a rosella on the M'bike once. It made less a click, more of a soggy thump off my helmet. Poor birdie.

Then I strapped it to the tailpipe, and by the time I got home, it was cooked to a turn.

The last bit isn't true 🙂

And to get back OnT, are you ABSOLUTELY sure it wasn't your hubs disintegrating, flanges cracking, etc.? (Sorry, but it had to be said, along with "Do you sleep with your beard under or over the sheet?" and "Don't think about the elephant".) It seems to happen to people who use Ksyrium SLs as their everyday wheelset.

I think by hitting the rosella it has caused serious problems with you. I guess I should have said the wheels were SSC SL. These are the best wheels I have bought. I still have my Mavic open pro as back but I can't use them on my Daytona T595.🙂
I weigh more than 85 more like 95 and as I said the tape around the value worked.😄 Have a good day.:p
