Cleat alignment

Hi I just Bought a pair of nike altea II and just wanted to know if there is a proper alignment. I see a horizontal bar and a vertical bar that are on the bottom of the cleat. Common sense tells me those bars should be covered when the cleat is on properly. Any one know? Thanks kind of like this __ __ __ | | |
