  1. Hello,

    can anyone tell me how to dismantle the bearings on my non-splined muni,
    for cleaning?

  2. They should be sealed bearings with a rubber seal between the inner and
    outer race. These are usually black. If it is silver then it is just a
    dust seal and it is probably worth buying new bearings with a rubber
    seal. Sealed bearings aren't really servicable, you just replace them
    when they wear. You can prize out the rubber caps, clean them and
    regrease them but you'd need to be on a very tight budget to do it.

  3. fair play, fair play

    its a black seal, which i have prised off. i have put more grease on the
    bearings, but it is still rubbing slightly.

    i will probably just buy some new bearings.
