Cleaning a Frame Pump

Compressed air first and then get an alcholol spray used on electronic
equipement. Don't use rubbing alcholol! It could wreck the seals.

Common problem, easily preventable by putting a small piece of electrical tape
over the hole.

Disassemble the pump and clean it with WD-40. Use a rag to clean the pump bore
and a Q-tip if necessary to clean the head where your valve stem goes. Then
lubricate with oil or light grease and reassemble.

I would definitely use grease (or vaseline), not oil. Inner tubes do
not like oil one bit.
