  1. We've processed the SRTM data for the UK to remove anomolies (for
example interpolated missing data to remove blanks, set sea levels,
defined coastline etc.) and have resampled and georeferenced it to the
National Grid at 100 metre spacing. Available at
    srtm.co.uksrtm.co.uk. Ideal for visualization work.

The Irish data - similarly processed but referenced to the Irish grid
    - will be available shortly.

£100 for the whole country on a 'single-user' basis. Usage restrictions applied but not specified.

FYI usage restriction simply that the data is not redistributed in any format that can reproduce the
heightfield. No restriction on redistributon of generated images, maps, tessellated 3D models, fly-
through movies, documentation, incorporation into games or other programs, or anything else of a
similar nature. Indeed welcomed and encouraged.

'Single-user' simply because that's the simplest licence format - enquire if you need something more
general - we're not going to be unreasonable and will probably extend to several users at no
    additional cost.

Incidently the 'whole country' price now includes the complete data for Ireland too.
