  1. I had surgery on my clavical the doctor said i would not heal correctly unless i did the surgery he showed me how it was broken and how it would heal that way in a V form that he would put a pin in there and it would hold the bone straight so it would heal that way.its been over a month i just went to my second follow up since surgery and the xray shows the pin broken and im healing the same as if surgery was never done. the doctor said its normal for the pins to break and has no plans of removing them and everything is fine as far as he is concerned just made an appointment for me to come back in a month. This does not sound right to me me at all i know its only been a month since surgery but im still having sharp pains and its still very uncomfortable. i dont know what to do i dont like that its healing the same as if surgery was not done and i dont like that i have a boken metal rod in my shoulder.

  2. for this kind of injury there is a long thread you can read.

but for the problem you face I think you must speak to your Doctor or try to find an other doctor.

I had the operation 10 days ago and I am very careful not to hit my shoulder again, I have given up all sports until end of September and I am very careful not to use my injured arm too much.

The question for your problem is how the your pin broke, did you hit your shoulder or it was a bad medical practice?
    Can you tell?

  3. I heard about cervical surgery but what are the risks of it. You did surgery so you are the best person who can recommend other this surgery with it side effects. I know our doctor will prescribe how long we need to continue with these treatments and limitations.
