Cindy Sheehan remains camped outside George W Bush's ranch in Texas, near Crawford, Texas. She's demanding that he explain the war to her and bring the troops home because the war is illegal.
As often happens in cases where wars take a turn for the worse, protests start to develop with time and more questions are asked. Cindy Sheehan claims the majority of people now oppose the Iraq war since no WMD have been found so far and Iraq itself is falling into ethnic conflict and instability.
Speaking of the President Cindy Sheehan said:
"He wouldn't look at the pictures of Casey. He didn't even know Casey's name," she told CNN Sunday. "Every time we tried to talk about Casey and how much we missed him, he would change the subject."
"The message also urges Bush to send his twin daughters, Jenna and Barbara, to Iraq "if the cause is so noble."
In a Newsweek poll released Sunday, 64 percent of those polled said they do not believe the war in Iraq has made Americans safer, and 61 percent said they disapprove of the way the president is handling the war.

a local radio station ran an interview with her. there were two things that stuck for me, one, she wanted to tell bush this is not a laughing matter and she is outraged by his handling this as a joke.
this was in regard to a comment bush made along the line of not being able to send the troops home as they are still there looking for wmd, this accompanied by a hearty chuckle from bush.
two, she wants to tell bush this is not a video game. this in regards to a statement bush made as how the soldiers of today are prepared for war because they enjoy video games.
three, the primary thing she wanted to get across is that the us is "there" for the long run. it has been put forth by the bushites their's is a 50 yr. war.as for why, my own belief is this will support their
(bush's handlers, family, and associate's syndicate) offspring for a generation,
and this to practice genocide in killing of a generation of "terrorists" under the guise of supporting freedom. i do know personaly "christians" who support this genocidal view, it is going around as acceptable, as what i see as a a cultist belief.back to the three items she wanted to convey, there were other matters of course, but she stated wanting and needing to speak with bush to his face.

I can't wait until the day someone is mad enough at these arrogant, gutless [censored] to off them. It worked for their side in the 60's (JFK, MLK, RFK), maybe now the shoe should be on the other foot.

In order to win any war on terror you need to have right on your side. I have no problems over rooting out 9/11 hijackers but what I do have a problem with is the idea of targeting Iraqis and using then as scapegoats.
Bush plays a very dangerous game. He's exploited the 9/11 situation so he can justify an invasion of Iraq for political/economic purposes. Now his own countrymen are beginning to ask themselves what's going on. Why are U.S. troops dying in a foreign land to try and bring democracy to a nation that never knew democracy and, more than likely, doesn't want democracy?
So, she's making a stand over the death of her son and many people are hearing her out.
