Once upon a time, a young woman (we'll call her Cinderella) took up cycling and found that it soothed her soul. Each day, she would ride further and further, and she found that each day, she loved it a little more, felt a little better. But one day, Cinderella's shoes disintegrated into a pile of rubber and laces. Cinderella was very sad, she couldn't ride or race barefoot! She looked high and low, and tried to find a cycling shoe that fit. At each bike shop she visited, the sales guy would shake his head, no,
we don't have anything that WIDE. What would Cinderella do? One day, a friend suggested she visit NIKE's site and learn about the WIDE Ventoux shoe. This shoe looks good, and might fit, she thought. I have to find a pair. She called Everywhere: do you carry the WIDE Ventoux road cycling shoe? she would ask. But No, no one had a wide width to try on. Finally, in desperation, she wrote an email to Nike, asking for their help:
NIKE, can you help make a happy ending to this Cinderella story-in-progress?
