I recently bought a used Ciclosport Hac4 plus bike computer. It came with the hactronic software & pc interface, but apparently not the ciclotrainer and ciclotour software. Those familiar with this computer would probably note that the device is functional without those two, but after downloading the demo, it would be nice to have them, as it would be easier to manage/analyze the results.
The problem is that veletec (ciclosport distributor) doesn't want to sell the software separately, but wants me to buy another interface at $140.00. I already have the friggin interface 🙁
I tried to point out that one cannot use the software without the interface - the software just facilitates the input of the data. Apparently this did not make any sense to them.
Anyway, is there anyone here who has the software and would like to sell me a copy or help me out here?
That's kinda weird, I downloaded the real software for free after I bought my HAC4 used a year ago. Email me at [email hidden] and I'll try to get my copy to you. It will be a small challenge, the software is Windows but I only have email access on my macs. Bet I can do it though.
If anyone knows, the only CD I have says Hactronic, its blue, has a oscilloscope heart rate trace. Are there other cd's, or should all three components for the group be on this cd?
Drat...should have purchased a polar instead. So much more simple.
