Press. So far so dismally eroding. However there is something
sinister in the print.
They are stiring up the level crossing problem and taking sides.
They have followed the Network Rail line completely re crossings and
the text is full of warnings about gaining permission to use crossings
on RoWs and a big warning in the introduction about being prepared to
take new routes to the hills. Well researched eh! Since when have
any of us needed anyones permission to follow the road to Strathconon
from Craig, or along Loch Ericht ? Fun when the punters keep ringing
up at the end of the day.
After the Koch Osbourne goml praising manuals yet another....Must
these people stab us in the back at every opportunity? Write a
guidebook and then do your best to help make it illegal to follow it.
There are big signs up on these crossings saying they are open to
authorised users only.. Authorised on a RoW (and probably elsewhere
nowadays) means anyone on foot surely?
Other than that it looks like another sterile bagging by numbers
effort.
