I never grease the outside of those sealed bearings. It would probably
do no more than attract dust/dirt.

JD, that seems to make sense . CC makes some great hardware...
Additionally, it is interesting to note (right from their directions)
they don't recommend either for or against using grease in the neck of
the head tube when re-pressing in the headset, they leave that choice up
to the installer...
