I recently bought a set of Campy Zonda wheels. I am planning on using these as my competition wheels. My question is this: is there such a thing as a Chorus 9 speed cassette? I want to buy a second cassette, so I don't have to switch every time I change from training to racing wheels. I have Veloce/Daytona on the bike now, and figured I might as well upgrade the cassette if I'm buying a new one.
p.s. If anyone has some quick recommendations for racing or training tires, I'd appreciate it! I'm currently using Michelin Axial Sports (no longer made) for both training and competition. I'd like to go for mostly durability in a training tire; lightweight and grip for a racing tire. I will be using 700x23C for both competition and training.

You can also get the 9-speed loose cog casettes which are a little heavier but work fine with Campy 9-speed setups. I'm using them on my commuting bike.

Yes! I have both Chorus and Record 9 spd cassettes. They're not so old, you might find one by calling bike shops or catalogs and asking, they don't list them very often. I've had good luck with this method for finding the cogsets as well (usually cheaper too).
I like Hutchinson tires, aged about 9 months to 1 year on old rims (to harden them a bit) in a cool, dark place. I've been riding one set for training for about 8,000k, and still rolling.
Thanks for all the replies guys/gals. I found what I was looking for at Nashbar.com. It is item number CA-CSC2. It was a bit pricey at $54.95, but it is what I'm looking for. I ended upgetting the 12x23. I'll be installing it on my new wheels this weekend! 😄
