    Coronary Cholesterol Confusion (Part 2)

Heart disease is America's number-one killer. The
choice is yours to either be a victim, or have a
change of heart and let food be your medicine.

Is there really such a thing as "bad cholesterol?"

    Repeat after me:

    My body is not stupid.
It does not do stupid things.
It reacts to the stupid things which my mind
    directs it to do.
Whoever designed the human body did so with
    an intelligent plan.

The following is not be taught in medical schools.
The following represents the cause and cure of heart disease.
You want simplicity? Here it is...

The manufacture of LDL Cholesterol (low density lipoprotein)
is the human response to continuous heart damage. The
internal production and secretion of this so-called
"bad cholesterol" is the manner in which the body repairs
its own damage. I call LDL cholesterol the body's own
spackle. When picture hooks cause holes in your walls,
you simply go to a hardware store to purchase a can of
spackle. That fills the hole. Many events are responsible
for heart damage. The largest heart study in American
history (Castelli's Framingham Heart Study) has identified
sulfur-based amino acids (from eating animal protein) as
the key to the etiology of heart disease. So, the body's
antidote to Atkins Diet insanity is to neutralize the
damage caused by the ingestion of animal protein. Your
body's response is to manufacture more LDL cholesterol.

The higher the cholesterol reading, the greater is the damage
that must be repaired. So, what do naive meat eaters do when
faced with high cholesterol rates? They seek advice from
    well meaning, but ignorant doctors.

Doctors prescribe cholesterol-lowering drugs which take away
the body's mechanism by which the damage is repaired. In other
words, cholesterol-lowering drugs make things worse. Why not
simply eliminate those factors which cause the damage? Because
most doctors are not taught to think. They are taught to
diagnose and prescribe medications. (There are exceptions
to this "ignorant doctor" rule. They include John McDougall, MD,
Joel Fuhrman, MD, Michael Greger, MD, and many others).

Animal protein (meat and dairy) contains an abundance of
sulfur-based amino acids. The worst foods to eat (the
highest levels of sulfur) are chicken and eggs. You do
not want the rotten egg smell infusing into each of your
body's cells. One must neutralize the resulting acid. To
do so, calcium is leached from where it is stored: in the
skeletal system. For this reason, those living in meat-eating
nations have the highest rates of bone disease.

So, what can you do if you have high cholesterol and hope
to prevent or reverse heart disease? The heart-healthy answer
is to change your diet and furnish your body with clean fuel.

  2. Where is the evidence? You can eat gelatin as a source of animal
protein, which is very different from the high tryptophan meats that
most Americans eat. One guy developed Alzheimer's and was
institutionalized. He insisted on 15 soft-boiled eggs a day for ten
years, and his lipid panel was in the normal range. Why? Because it's
only oxidized cholesterol that is dangerous, as AHA spokesman Dr.
Richard Stein recently stated - and he also mentioned that the evidence
is fairly new (last decade or so), meaning that is you read the old
literature, you have to consider how the knowledge of oxdiation might
change one's interpretation of the results. For example, if milk is
rancid, it is very unhealthy, whereas if it is raw, organic, and the
animals are clean, and it is not cooked, it is great, though of course
drinking a couple of gallons a day might not be a good idea, just as
drinking too much pure water would kill someone. How could baby
animals survive if milk was a dangerous food? They are very
susceptible to all kinds of minor stressors, so milk has to be
relatively harmless, whereas many plant foods have a lot of toxins and
enzyme-inhibiting substances to prevent animals from eating them in
huge amounts. People can grow any plant, but many are unaware at the
kind of digestive (and other damage) plants can do to you. The worst
is polyunsaturates, which are very susceptible to free radical
degradation, both inside and outside the body. Meat and animals fats
can be very high in polyunsaturates, due to what animals are fed (lots
of soy and corn), and the molecules are the same - linoleic acid (the
most common dietary polyunsaturate) is linoleic acid, and it doesn't
matter whether it comes from milk, meat, or a plant. Beef can be high
in cholesterol, iron, arachidonic acid (the most dangerous
polyunsaturate commonly found in American diets), and stearic acid (a
saturated fatty acid that helps iron get absorbed), and beef is often
cooked while exposed to air, which oxidizes the lipids, and all this
makes beef a poor dietary choice, though if you boiled a healthy cow
whole and ate the mixture, it would be a lot less unhealthy, and in
small amounts, would probably be a good dietary choice, at least once
    in a while.

Once you realize that the underlying mechanism is free radical damage
(and substances that enhance it, such as iron), you can figure out
which foods are likely to be unhealthy (or how to avoid making a food
unhealthy, usually by cooking while exposed to air), and you don't have
to worry too much about the endless reports of studies that so often
    contradict each other.

    I wonder why?

    Very true.

I call LDL cholesterol the body's own

And it fills and fills and fills the hole indeed including all the entire of
the vessel wall. This is called atherosclerosis in which the repair blocks
the entire lumen of the artery. Get it. Simple.

Cut the artery in half and look it under a micrscope and what do you see?
    Cholesterol. Simple.

Ignorant doctors? Your explanations are moronic and lack common sense.

Because it is the repair that is blocking the arteries.
