I am a Family Medicine physician from the US. I work
near San Francisco and have had many medical
encounters in which I would have liked to have spoken
Mandarin Chinese.
I will be taking time off this year to travel. Part of
my plans include learning Mandarin.
Has anyone out here had experience with Chinese
language schools in China or Taiwan? Have you been to a
school that was especially good? Have you found any
schools with a medical emphasis? Any schools or
universities that could use an English-speaking
physician to teach English or anatomy or procedures
while learning Mandarin? Any other good experiences
while learning Mandarin?
