  1. I have an old CCM heart rate monitor, and I am getting rather tired of having to put on this bra
strap around my chest to have the monitor in place. I saw at Radio Shack that they have a really
cheap HRM that takes your pulse on your wrist. So is a wrist HRM just as reliable as a chest HRM?
It's hard to believe, but it would be great!

    TIA,

    Didier

The only wrist ones I have seen are either giant or require you to put your fingers on an
electrode/s to get a reading. Rather inconvenient. Pick

Thanks! The sales droid at Radio Shack, where one was for sale for 20$, said it worked directly on
the wrist but couldn't get it to work right now "because you have to be sweating". What you are
saying makes a lot more sense!

    Saved me 20$
