  1. Have just seen my local Asda (Wycombe) is doing 2 person dome tents
    for a mere £7. They're only single skin, but might still be useful
    for this summer. From memory they weigh 2.1kg and are 2.2m x 1.5m
    inside which seems pretty reasonable. And at that price they're
    pretty much disposable (not in the hill,s please!) anyway.

    Thought some of you might be interested.

    I bought a cheap 2 man dome from Argos a few years back. Pitched it in the
    garden, left it overnight in the rain. Pools of water in the tent next
    morning. Took it straight back.

    And if it's not going to rain, well who needs a tent anyway in summer? ;-)
