  1. Hi,

can anyone think of a cheap alternative to a cassette scraper?
Perhaps an everyday item that one might already own that would do the same job of cleaning between sprockets on a cassette?

Thanks if you have any ideas,
    Ray

A piece of cardboard? A brush from a dustpan and brush set (one could even trim the hairs to suit)? A rag squeezed between the sprockets?

  3. Old stockings or pantyhose. A nail file for the tough bits.

steel brush and a drill ....

  5. What about a scrubbing brush? USD $0.99, now that's cheap.
