  1. The TomTom I have has a battery life of 3 hours (max) so on a long ride it's not much use. Does anyone know of a 5V / 100mA dynamo that will charge this unit as you ride?

  2. How about solar panels like that:
    cgi.ebay.com2pcs 0 275w 5 5v 50mA New mini solar panel module W0QQitemZ290133555431QQihZ019QQcategoryZ41981QQssP

5.5V, 50mA each. Put them in parallel (not serial) and you get 100mA at 5.5V.
