Changed from a squishy GEL saddle to a Selle San Marco a couple weeks ago.
At first I was a bit shocked by how hard the new saddle felt. Fit was good, but just firm.
Well, I've been riding it a couple weeks now and did my first longer ride yesterday. About 40 miles, which for me qualifies as long.
Glad to report: No problem!
Someone here said give it a few days and all will be well. They were right!
Saddle felt good. I like the firmness. The wobbling around was really getting old.
Which one did ya get? A Rolls?
ERA K
Don't forget to maintain the leather with leather cleaner and protectant. Drying out will ruin it. I had a Rolls. It was stolen. Enjoyed it for a decade or two though.

Glad it worked out. I had the same experience. I didn't see how it could be true that it would be easy to adjust to it, but it was. I am just riding the stock OEM saddle from Specialized, nothing expensive.
