I have a steel bike that I line very much, with the exception of the bent
chainstays. the chainstays are bent out will infrunt of the axle, I have
large feet and the heal sometimes interferes with the stay . On one occasion
getting caught and dumping me. I wonder what the purpose of this design was?
is there a frame builder that could straighten these things? I have seen
newer frames with the opposite bend, so I hope this was a phase.
