  1. I recently went riding and found that my chain would grind against the inner side of my outer chainring when tring to upshift. Right now, it appears that the derailleur was having problems shifting from the middle to the outer ring only...shifting down gives me no problems. I have made some minor adjustments to the derailleur cable's tightness and it seems to making upshifting a bit easier, although it seems like it takes a while before the chain will actually derail. There is also some scarring on the chainring (mostly cosmetic). Shoudl I be concerned?
