I have a century Saturday, May 28th. If I do a long ride (3 to 4 hours) on thursday, May 25th will this compromise my performance for the Century? I'm not looking to peak for it; however, I would like to feel strong for the ride. If it helps my schedule the week before will look like this:
Monday: 1.5hours (about 2000ft of climbing) Tuesday: 1.5hours (about 2000ft climbing) Wednesday: off Thursday: Long ride (3 to 4 hours) or 2 hours easy Friday: 1 hour easy Saturday: century (one significant climb, not sure about overall ascent/descent) Sunday: 1 hour easy ride or off (it will depend on how the century went)

do the 2 hours easy - even slightly tired legs during a century sucks - save it for the ride.
