  1. I see that there has been one other thread on this topic over two years ago - but no responses.

    What do you physiologists make of Noakes / Gibons theory ?

    Where does it fall down in attributing fatigue this way ?

    I have seen advocates of strength training in endurance cycling cite this study as supporting an argument as to why strength training can be of benefit to endurance cycling performance (as CV capacity is not the limiter according to Noakes/Gibson)

    Any thoughts appreciated.
