I was just wondering if I could use my Centaur CT compact 50/34 with my Record BB, is the threading the same? Thanks

You should not be able to. Record BB is 102mm, while the Centaur CT crank requires a 111mm BB axle (as per the specs on the Sacred Site: www.campagnolo.com).
If my memory serves me, only Record and Chorus have the 102 BB axle length, while the other Campagnolo groups are at 111mm.

Threading is not the issue here, but BB length. I agree with Pete. The chainline will not be right if you use the 102mm Record BB. Get a Centaur or Veloce 111mm Symmetric BB. Be careful NOT to get the 111mm ASYMMETRIC Record or Chorus BB that is designed for the Record and Chorus triples.
Whereas many of the official recommendations on the Campagnolo website can be violated, this is probably not one of them.
