I've looked at thier bikes as well, got some very cheap parts such as pro stems and handle bars etc.

They get thier bikes/frames from the same asian factory's as other brands, big and small. Thier carbon frame is the same as diamondback used last year, and I've seen a few other import company's using it.

I can't comment on the quality or the ride. But hell for 2300 with ultegra it would have to be a really bad frame before it was not good value (sall the frame on ebay, keep the kit!) Probably cheap as there is no middle men taking thier slice, and no pro team to support :p

I bought one of their rides. Just to see if I liked road riding, but hoped the bike would be a bargain. It wasn't.

Both rims were out and needed trueing. The rear generic shimano derailluer is impossible to adjust properly and I have never been able to select all gears without it swapping between two gear somewhere along the 8 speeds. Paint job/sticker quality is aweful, the seatpost is impossible to tighten enough and allows the seat to tilt and the brakes don't stop the bike at all and are impossible to adjust correctly. The front derailluer downtube shifter is not indexed (my God, its 2006) and the rear wheel sits skew nearly rubbing against the chainstay.

But it is cheap...

Fauxpas, which model was it? We have since redesigned several models and have introduced a few new models including a full Tiagra model for $899 and are working on a fixed gear/single speed roadie with rack mounts.

From second thought, it looks like you bought the S-2200, we have some riders who use it for Tri's that are on a budget, however it needs to be kept tuned if you are going to race it. The Shimano SORA & TIAGRA models we have are far and away much smoother.
