What precisely is Cateye's Flex-tight (tm) bracket, as found on the EL530 front light?
I need to get a new Cateye front light (the electrician who was holding the old one between her teeth dropped it after she shorted out a lighting circuit for the eighth time in a row).
What I don't want is to find that my other Cateye front light (EL500) can't be swapped with it because of a different connector. That would be a nuisance.

It will fit any size of handlebar by turning the knob

You may be out of luck. My old HL500doesn't fit because the bracket has an internal slot for the small EL135.
If you look carefully you can see where I have tried to fit my HL500 on it -- the tiny mark on the left hand inner lip. The raised ramped part in the centre of the mount on the light fouls the bracket. http://www.p-t-cook.freeserve.co.uk/temp/PICT1663.jpg
