  1. I swim in the pool for about one and one half hour a day. After several
months of use, the plastic of my googles becomes hardened and unconfortable
to the eyes. Is there, please, a way to restore the original softness? Or,
when I start using new goggles, is there a way to avoid this hardening?
    TIA,
    Amalia

Thank you, Otis, but I use Speedo goggles, and they are of course made of
    silicon rubber. Any more ideas?

I have speedo goggles with silicon, and they never lose their
softness. I suspect we are either talking about different materials,
or you are buying fake speedos.
