  1. I'm gonna do some snowboarding this winter and I want my cardio to get better so I'm not dead on the hills after an hour or so. What would you recommend? Snowboard season is starting in a month.

So far I'm doing 30 mins of stationary bike every 2 days, is that enough? If not what is?

Sorry buddy... noone showed you love quick enough :-)

    Feel the love.

I think 30 mins of stationary bike every two days will help a relatively unfit person, and would certainly be better than nothing, but you should perhaps try to do a little more if you can be bothered. Maybe 4 sessions of 1 hour a week. And try keeping it up a bit year round. Also, try making it fun.

I know plenty of snowboarders who make wicked mountain bikers, so if you'ce got one or can borrow one, hit some trails and you'll be riding and loving 1-2 hour sessions, getting home shagged, but not noticing the pain. Stationary bike can get oh so boring...

If you want a little more detail PM me and let me know what you need. It can be hard to answer a question without knowing a persons circumstances - how much time do you really want to put into it, how fit are you now, etc.

By the way, where are you boarding?
