Riding toward Melbourne on the Footscray Rd bike path this morning, an unfolded flying cardboard box landed sqaure on my face. The strong Northerly blew it from the markets across the road. I steered left to stop on the grass and missed the 10m gaps between the poles, crashing into one. No damage or scrapes just two bruises. Thank you to the rider who stopped to ask how I was.
Now had the punt across the Yarra been running.....

Wow! I didn't go that way because the path along the Maribyrnong was closed, so I ducked through Kensington. Glad you're OK, but also glad I missed those winds. -
Knowing that you are okay.... the whole event sounds a bit comical. I hope you can laugh at yourself in a situation like that.
